Donald Trump PR Firms: Others Fire The Donald, These Companies Do Not
Donald Trump oversees a vast empire of real estate holdings and developments, including several resort and hospitality destination efforts. However, most recently he has dominated media for his Presidential campaign.
And Trump has been very controversial – from making comments many view as racist against Hispanics to off-color remarks about John McCain and others, Trump is out there. And since he’s started acting up, a number of businesses now refuse to work with Donald Trump. Univision, Televisa, Macy’s, NBCUniversal, all now want nothing to do with him. And there’s others – from NASCAR distancing themselves to Trump, to Serta, the nation’s number one bedding producer, announcing it was “unwinding [its] relationship” with Trump, it seems many companies are distancing themselves from Trump.
However, as of this writing, he is doing well in the polls. And judging from his website, and the websites of PR firms, he uses a number of Public Relations pros – here’s the Donald Trump Public Relations team:
Middleton and Gendron / Eric Mower Associates: This firm represents high-end travel, real estate, and lifestyle clients providing help with brand analysis, strategy and planning, promotions, copywriting, crisis management, visual communications, media training, and more. They represent a number of clients.
The work they’ve done for Donald Trump includes the Trump Hotel Collection – with properties under development currently in Chicago, Las Vegas, Panama, Dubai, Ft. Lauderdale, New York City and more. In 1997, they helped launch the International Trump Hotel and Tower. And in 1989 they helped with opening the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City.
Rubenstein PR: Richard Rubenstein is the spoiled youngest son of PR legend Howard Rubenstein. They have been in business for over 20 years helping clients with the public relations needs. Rubenstein PR has helped clients devise campaigns for their luxury brands in real estate, fashion, design, and consumer product sectors. They have done work for Trump on the Miss Universe Organization.
Nicole Hawkins Communications: This PR agency was formed in 2004 and is headquartered in Washington DC. The firm helps clients with PR efforts, strategic business planning, and planning spectacular events. While working for the Washington Wizards, Ms. Hawkins became the first African American woman to be in charge of PR for an NBA franchise. Some of her efforts with Trump include the Trump Winery and Trump National Golf Club – Washington DC.
Nicolas & Lence Communication: They are headquartered in New York and specialize in strategic communications, public relations, crisis management, corporate positioning, destination marketing, and government affairs. Their work for Trump includes Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point
C3V Agency: C3V is a multicultural agency based in Miami, Florida. The agency has strong ties to the Hispanic community – very interesting given Trumps’s comments. They have represented Trump for Trump National Doral Miami.
Surely there’s others internal and external doing work for the Donald – but here’s our best bet of the Donald Trump Public Relations team.
