Hill & Knowlton, Inc. has been selected as the agency of record for the US High Speed Rail Association. The international communications firm will be working to help their non-profit client, the only one in the US to focus on providing high speed rail access, spread the word.
“We are excited to work with Hill & Knowlton as we spread the word about the benefits of high speed rail,” said Andy Kunz, president and CEO, US HSR. “The relationship will expand the association’s ability to inform and mobilize public support to bring high speed rail to America. We are seeing unprecedented new momentum for our message about the benefits of true high speed systems across the country and H&K is best positioned to help accelerate and amplify that message.”
The US HSR is an organization dedicated to making the dream of a high speed train a reality. The organization is hoping to implement top quality 220 mph trains with a dedicated track, top quality controls and everything necessary to provide safe, fast transport.
“As a new association striving to develop a new infrastructure, we require smart, strategic thinking from our communications partner. H&K has been excellent to work with and was the right choice for us,” said Thomas Hart, esquire, vice president of government affairs & general counsel US HSR. ”
H&K brings global relationships and resources that will be beneficial to US HSR as we work with decision makers and elected officials to develop sound policies in the development and deployment of high speed rail throughout the nation.”
