Marketing RFP Issued By Texas A&M University
Texas A&M University, subsequently referred to as Texas A&M, Athletics is accepting proposals and intends to enter into an agreement with a Professional Marketing and Event Promotion Services firm to assist with the advertising and promotion of publicly ticketed live events at both Reed Arena and Kyle Field along with other selected Texas A&M Athletic venues.
Established in 1876, Texas A&M has since grown to become a world leader in teaching, research, and service, with an international reputation for excellence in both academics and athletics. With an enrollment of more than 70,000+ students at the main campus in College Station, Texas A&M is the fourth largest among U.S. universities and graduates more than 17,000 students each year. More than half of the university’s 400,000 alumni, known as “former students,” have graduated since 1999, reflecting Texas A&M’s mercurial growth. Texas A&M Athletics currently has a robust A&M Sports Marketing program, but is looking to establish live entertainment and special events marketing efforts. The current process of marketing live entertainment and special events consists of developing event specific media budgets and then placing that media buy in various outlines locally, regionally or nationally depending on the circumstances and needs of that event. Our media partners include digital, print, radio, television and grass roots efforts in support of the events.
Scope of Work:
Texas A&M, Athletics is accepting proposals and intends to enter into an agreement with a Professional Marketing and Event Promotion Services firm to assist with the advertising and promotion of publicly ticketed live events at both Reed Arena and Kyle Field along with other select Texas A&M Athletics venues located on our College Station, TX campus. The selected vendor must be able to provide both marketing and event promotion services. The services required by Respondent include, but not limited to:
• Development of a marketing budget
• Management of marketing budget
• Placement of media across various formats (print, television, radio, digital and social media)
• Suggest/assist remotely with the development of grassroots and other non-traditional event promotion opportunities.
• Provide on-going marketing consultation as it relates to the event execution and support throughout the entire process from the initial on-sale through final event settlement
