MWW hired Deana Perlmutter as deputy general manager of the Washington, D.C. office and SVP of corporate affairs.
In her role, she will manage the operations and strategy of MWW’s DC office, and assist clients in developing corporate, economic and environmental sustainability strategies. She will report directly to Michael Kempner, MWW CEO.
Kempner described Perlmutter’s expertise as an incredible asset for MWW existing and future clients:
“There are few professionals that understand the inner workings of Washington, D.C. more than Deana. She is a respected advocate for her clients on a wide range of corporate issues and few people are more admired than Deana when it comes to developing, implementing and promoting cross-sector solutions for clean tech and energy efficiency,” said Michael W. Kempner, president and CEO of MWW.

From here, she’ll be adding three clients to MWW PR Group’s existing roster: Weston Solutions, National Renewable Energy Laboratories, and Angstrom Energies. Other previous expertise includes senior policy advisor at Holland and Knight, and Senior Vice President at The Dutko Group.
Last but not least, Perlmutter is an active member of the community, serving on a number of boards and commissions, including the Colorado Neurological Institute, Colorado Boy’s and Girls Club, the Governor’s Women’s Economic Development Council, The Governor’s Workforce Housing Task Force, the International Sustainable Technology Building Center (STBC), the Energy and Environmental Building Association, the Women’s Leadership Foundation and many other government and non-profit organizations.
