Finn Partners Adds New Travel-Tech Group:

Pulling staff from Finn’s global network:

A dedicated travel technology group has been created by global marketing and PR firm Finn Partners and influenced by their recent UK travel and tourism acquisition (Brighter Group). Already 100 people attached to the group, they are making claims to being the largest travel and tourism team anywhere in the world. Members of the team have worked with Adara (data insight), Goal Zero (solar power products), GlobeTrack (reservations), and Hoof, Hotels.com, Vonage, Rosetta Stone, and OpenJaw as well.

Debbie Flynn, managing partner at Brighter Group, said: “Our goal is to own the travel tech sector for marketing and PR in the UK and beyond. Our fabulous network of connections means that we can provide introductions and help with business development as well as offer stellar PR. Our new blended team is now poised to be the market leader within three years.”

Dolphin Entertainment Announces New Clients:

42West’s subsidiary, Dolphin Entertainment Inc., has increased their client roster significantly since the end of 2017. Some of these include Netflix, NBCUniversal, Jude Law, and Taraji Henson. The additions don’t stop there though, they also recently signed with Guillermo del Toro, Camila Cabello, Bill Maher, Cameron & Tyler Winklevoss (bitcoin billionaires), and Marc Maron. They are also working with 27 new films including Justice League and I, Tonya.

New Global Managing Director, Brand Marketing at FleishmanHillard:

Candace Peterson just picked up a new role at FleishmanHillard (FH), becoming their global managing director, brand marketing. She will oversee work to bring in new clients and help with creative work for consumers and brands, bringing brand specialists in the FH network to strengthen client campaigns. The specialists will include FH’s “Authenticity Gap” to align consumer expectations and move them forward with purchases.

New Weber Shandwick Office Coming to Kenya:

Weber Shandwick (WS) is one of the world’s largest global communications and PR firms, and they’ve just taken another step in bringing their help to Kenya and East Africa. The new office will be led by Allan Kamau. WS already has an office in Johannesburg, South Africa as well as various affiliates and partners scattered through Africa. Kamau comes to the new position from Portland Communication’s office in Nairobi. But also has worked internationally at The Financial Times and Africa Practice.

John Seigenthaler Moves to Nashville Office of Finn Partners:

Finn Partners is the largest communications agency in Tennessee, and John Seigenthaler, a native of the state, returns home after serving as senior counsel for the firm in the New York headquarters. The move also makes him a partner and celebrates the local firm’s new name, DVL Seigenthaler. Seigenthaler started his career in journalism, where he ultimately spent over 10 years at NBC Nightly News as the weekend anchor.

After 20 years in New York, Beth S. Courtney, managing partner of DVL Seigenthaler, said: “We are so happy that John is back in Nashville! John is a gifted strategic communicator who also knows Tennessee like the back of his hand, and cares about it passionately. Setai Hotels (Israel) signs Xhibition PR as AOR:

Xhibition PR has offices in New York and Tel Aviv and has just been named as agency of record for The Setai Hotels to begin a new international PR campaign focused on their two hotels in Israel. The chain is launching a new resort on the Mediterranean Sea in Tel Aviv near the entrance to Jaffa, an ancient city. The new hotel has 120 rooms and suites. The new resort, The Setai Tel Aviv, is the first in Israel to be named a member of the Leading Hotels of the World organization.
