Peppercomm’s Nicole Morea Voted Vice Chair at Association of Measurement and Evaluations in Communications (AMEC)

Nicole Moreo was just named as the Vice Chair for the North American chapter of AMEC. More is Peppercomm’s Director of Research and Insights as well. She has been a member of the AMEC board for two years and was recently voted into the new position by the chapter members. AMEC provides the voice for PR research and measurement as well as a network for sharing best practices about media intelligence, communications research, knowledge, and insights. Moreo said: “I share a passion for business insights and solutions with my fellow colleagues at Peppercomm and AMEC, and I’m excited to continue moving this important work forward in this new role.”

New EMEA Leadership Named at MSLGroup

Peter Steere was just named as EMEA chairman for MSLGroup (a Publicis entity) just about a year Anders Kempe left. Steere has been pulled from their subsidiary JKL, where he has worked for 20 years ultimately hitting the position of co-CEO and opening up the Copenhagen area. Recently he’s served as the leader of public affairs for the EMEA region of the agency. The new position puts him in charge of approximately one-third of all global business for MSLGroup – that’s 1,100 employees in 30 markets across both Western and Eastern Europe, as well as the Middle East, and Africa. Steere will report to the global CEO of MSLGroup, Guillaume Herbette.

After Golin Takeover, The Brooklyn Brothers Restructures Leadership

A year ago, Golin took over The Brooklyn Brothers (BB), with offices in New York and London for a reported £35 Million. Now BB restructured their management teams allowing the four founders to increase efforts toward their clients and global growth. In London, Jessica Binns leads their team with Matt Brown, Miranda Mitchell, Tarek Sioufi, and Steve Wyles – all managing partners. The New York office’s managing director is Jared Scott and he works with a team of six including Stephen Rutterford (exec creative director), Jon Yasgur (creative director), Evan Confield (creative output, strategy director), Christina Thompson (production), Linden White (client services director), and Natasha Markley (director of partnerships).

Suven Inc. Now Repped by Impact Consulting Enterprises

East Orange, New Jersey just had two of its companies join forces as Impact Consulting Enterprises becomes the AOR for Suven Inc., a Monmouth Junction pharmaceutical company as they launch SUVN-502 for a clinical drug trial, designed for the treatment of Alzheimer’s. Tests will run in central and southern New Jersey, and select locations nationwide. A minority- and women-owned strategic communications, PR, and marketing company, Impact is led by Cheryl McCants, who has been named as one of New Jersey’s Top 25 Leading Women Entrepreneurs.

ICCO and The Holmes Report Announce Collaboration to Promote Conferences Around the World

ICCO, a consultancy trade body, created a new structure to divide its membership into five regions – the Americas, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and Asia-Pacific. They, along with The Holmes Report have formed a global partnership to cross-promote award events, key conferences, and selected content globally. The partnership is set to last for the next three years making it possible to hold world-call events in every region of the world every year.

Joint branding and event promotions include the SABRE Awards, In2Summit, Cannes Lions Festival House of PR, Miami’s Provoke17 Global PR Summit, the ICCO Global Awards, and Helsinki’s ICCO Global Summit. The ICCO will also help as an Association Partner on the Influence 100 publication, the Creativity in PR Study, and the Innovator 25.
