Publicis and Wal-Mart strike a deal

Publicis Groupe

This week, Wal-Mart signed a deal with Global PR and ad agency Publicis Groupe allowing the retail giant full access to all the agencies and resources of PG.

PG’s Chairman and CEO, Maurice Levy, said “This relationship is the direct result of  Publicis’ new approach, ‘the Power of One,’ which is designed to deliver end-to-end solutions for our clients. Wal-Mart is already implementing innovative approaches to reach its customers. Our goal is to leverage all of Publicis’ assets – not just the resources of one agency – to help them in these efforts.”

Though PG will be the primary AOR for Wal-Mart’s U.S. advertising and in-store creative efforts, the relationship is not exclusive.
