PiNkey AG Retains Tower PR as Agency of Record
By Editorial Team1 min read
German PiNkey AG, a company that guarantees the secure storage of keys of all kinds, with a 24-hour standby service and delivery in less than an hour, has retained Tower PR as its agency of record. PiNkey is a startup, which already operates in 60 German cities. With Tower, they help to expand quickly to cover the entire country. The PR agency will help deliver PiNkey's message to consumers and potential partners nationwide. The company specializes in planning and controlling customer communication with predefined target audiences - using both traditional and new media, including social media like Facebook and Twitter. "Tower PR will help us address specific target groups and will support us in delivering an active dialogue with these audiences," said Steffen Malessa, CEO of PiNkey AG. PiNkey has an interesting business model. This is more than a key safe, it is a pro-active service that allows customers to store spare-keys at a third party location, and have them delivered, in case of need, within an hour. The cost of the service is relatively low, with less than 30 EURO per year and 15 EURO for delivery. The company guarantees data security and privacy. PiNKey is not the first service of this kind. In 2006 Ludwig Hagl, a student of Economics, founded Key² - a spare key deposit service in Munich. There are spare-key deposits in Switzerland as well, but none so wired as PiNkey, which had the business intelligence to hire a PR company to spread their message.
