UCLA Health Issues Branding RFP
UCLA Health (UCLA) has issued an RFP for Talent Acquisition Advertising and Branding. The RFP’s purpose is to identify the appropriate vendor who will provide added-value advertising and brand ambassadorship services that will best support the organization’s hiring needs and increase Talent Acquisition outreach by aligning with best- in-class digital marketing practices.
For more than half a century, UCLA Health has provided the best in healthcare and the latest in medical technology to the people of Los Angeles and throughout the world. UCLA Health is among the most comprehensive and advanced healthcare systems in the world. It is comprised of the David Geffen School of Medicine, the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica, Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital at UCLA, Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA, the Faculty Practice Group (FPG), which includes the UCLA Medical Group with its wide-reaching system of primary-care and specialty-care offices throughout the region.
The UCLA Hospital System consists of the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, a 520-bed acute care hospital with outpatient services, Santa Monica UCLA & Orthopedic Hospital, a 266- bed acute care hospital with outpatient services, and Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital (RNPH), a 74-bed acute psychiatric hospital with outpatient services.
Current State and Scope:
The current advertising and brand ambassadorship services provided to UCLA Health Talent Acquisition encompasses a wide array of services, including website management, advertising copy, an advertising platform for consultants to easily advertise select positions, and social media/digital marketing efforts. These efforts are done in conjunction with UCLA Health’s Marketing team to keep branding consistent, and increase branding awareness.
UCLA Health is interested in a vendor that will increase the scope of Talent Acquisition’s digital marketing efforts on social media platforms, create a more user-friendly and mobile-friendly Careers website, synergize with established corporate branding, and provide dynamic marketing materials in real time.
The vendor should be a strategic and added-value partner with Talent Acquisition, a department which provides high-touch, same-day service to its partners.
The selected vendor will be responsible for full-service and holistic marketing services to include website management, advertising and copy, event support, and high-touch customer service. It is anticipated that the vendor will partner with Talent Acquisition consultants and designated UCLA Health Marketing team members directly, and will be required to transfer knowledge to the UCLA Health Talent Acquisition team. It is expected that the selected vendor will be the primary lead on all marketing services with the responsibility for the development, management and execution of the marketing services with the assistance of UCLA Health Talent Acquisition and UCLA Health Marketing.
