SECTION 1 – PURPOSE OF RFP
1.01. PURPOSE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals to enter into a contract with a qualified offeror to obtain digital marketing services for Utah Valley University. The University is examining several alternatives of providing this product and/or construction and may decide, after reviewing proposals submitted, not to enter into any agreement.
This document solicits competitive sealed proposals, from qualified businesses to perform the scope of work set forth herein. This RFP is an offer by the University to purchase, in accordance with the terms and conditions of this RFP, the products and/or services proposed by the successful offeror. Offerors are strongly encouraged to carefully read the entire RFP.

1.03. ABOUT UNIVERSITY MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS

SECTION 5 – STATEMENT OF NEEDS
The purpose of this RFP is to procure a digital marketing firm to meet the needs of several areas and departments within Utah Valley University in a single source agency to better enable UVU and its affiliated departments to meet goals and key performance indicators.
5.04. SCOPE OF WORK AND SPECIFICATIONS
In addition to the mandatory requirements in Section 5.03, the ideal firm should be able to identify target audiences and gather real-time data, including demographics and psychographics, as well as user intent online to generate leads for recruiting into UVU undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as overall branding efforts. Specifically, the University is looking for expertise and consultation involving real-time data using a dashboard that will allow UVU to move quickly in adapting to changes needed to ensure that the University’s efforts are successful and yield the results wanted by optimizing marketing approaches to meet University KPI’s by the deadlines established. The University needs the ability to analyze the market quickly and follow leads into fruition.
The ideal firm should have a tool to measure performance; preferentially one that can be accessed on demand. The awarded firm would need to be able to be able to consult on strategy, audience identification, marketing channels and structure and provide tracking and insights into structure and growth opportunities. Preferably, the awarded firm would perform all work in-house and not outsource services to third parties.
The ideal agency will also be able to create content and marketing assets for University Marketing teams and test out and launch new products.
