#5. Acquisition by Morris & King Company

Closing on April 19, 2010, Morris & King Company acquired Workhouse for an undisclosed amount. In the move, Judith King, Morris & King principal and co-founder, projected that the deal would see an increase in Workhouse’ revenues by 25% to 40%.

As part of the acquisition deal, Adam Nelson, Workhouse’s founder and CEO, became the president and head of the consumer category at Morris & King agency.
