The importance of being well-informed about what’s happening in the world cannot be stressed enough when it comes to getting good PR coverage. To be an expert in your industry, you need to be able to identify trends around the world as well as your local market. While the news won’t always be directly about your industry, look out for stories that you can newsjack to tie your company and brand to it. Getting on the back of larger stories can be a great opportunity to get ample exposure as more people are tuned into big stories.
