Texts Reveal Woman Accused of Encouraging Boyfriend to Commit Suicide Tried to Dissuade Him

Inyoung You, alleged to have encouraged her 22-year old boyfriend, Alexander Urtula, to commit suicide, has said through her representatives that she intends to argue in court that she, contrary to the allegations, tried to convince him not to take his life. 

Rasky Partners, a public relations firm, shared text messages between the couple with the Boston Globe. You’s defense confirmed that they are legitimate messages. Authorities have said that You wrote more than 47,000 of the 75,000 messages shared between her and Urtula in the two months preceding his suicide, highlighting the importance of the text messages in this case.

Aldi Selects Frank as Retained UK Consumer PR Agency

The UK Supermarket chain, Aldi, has chosen Frank as its retained consumer PR agency following a competitive pitch. Frank will handle PR and communications for the main grocery area of Aldi’s business, in addition to its Mamia parenting brand and the various health and beauty products.  Frank managing partner, Alex Grier, is leading the consumer account, reporting to communications manager Kailee O’Brien and communications director Richard Thornton. Aldi, now the UK’s fifth-largest supermarket with over 840 stores spread across the country, has been focusing on its value messaging and “swap and save” campaigns. Its “Kevin and Katie Carrot” Christmas campaigns have been another integral focus.

Visa Brings on Allison+Partners for Innovation Communications

Visa has started working with Allison+Partners to support its work across corporate, security and innovation communications in North America. Apart from Allison+Partners, the firm uses several other firms, according to Paul Cohen, Visa’s Chief Communications Officer. 

Allison+Partners reportedly began work on the Visa account earlier in the year, focusing on a broader strategy to help consumers view Visa as more than just a credit card company. The MDC-owned agency is also supporting Visa with executive-thought leadership programs, fintech support and driving adoption of contactless cards in the US.

The partnership between UK Financial LTD and Blonde 2.0 seeks to help build the company’s status and credibility in the blockchain market. Blonde 2.0 is a leading public relations firm with a large, experienced team that supports a variety of cutting edge technology companies, focusing primarily on cryptocurrency and blockchain industries.

The PR firm will support the crypto creator and holdings company with its upcoming crypto-related events. UK Financial will make announcements, updates, and product launches through the Blonde 2.0 platform.

Kevin Davidson join Zeno to Lead New York and Washington Health Practice

After seven years at RXMosaic, Kevin Davidson has left the firm to oversee Zeno Group New York and Washington Health practice. His duties as an executive VP will involve managing existing client relations and pursuing new growth opportunities. He’s replacing Robyn Jackson, who is now with Citizen Relations, head of US health and wellness.

Prior to joining Zeno, Davidson served as RXMosaic’s business director and group senior VP/client director, leading regional and global PR for pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
