As 2015 is swiftly approaching, it’s time to reflect on the past year and acknowledge and celebrate the PR agencies who have shown remarkable work in social media, employee relations, digital and beyond.

PR News, an intellectual hub that serves the communications and marketing community at corporations, agencies and nonprofits, does just that through its award program which provides PR professionals the opportunity to strategize, learn and network while showcasing their best communication initiatives.

PR News Awards include: PR People, Rising PR Stars 30 & Under, Digital, Top Places to Work, Platinum PR, PR Agency Elite, Social Media Icon, CSR, Nonprofit and Top Women in PR.

At the start of September, the public relations site announced the finalists of the PR News’ Agency Elite Awards which is open to PR firms around the world and honors top agencies based on overall performance and campaigns, with the winners setting the benchmarks of excellence in client PR efforts.

Among the finalists were 5W Public Relations (named a finalist in the categories of Marketing to Women, Marketing to Latinos, Product Launch and Digital/Social Media) as well as Finn Partners Digital (Digital/Social Media), The Bromley Group (Marketing to Women), MWW (Reputation Management, Consumer Marketing and Crisis Management) Lewis PR (Digital/Social Media) and Makovsky (Business to Business and Promotion of Firm). The winners will be announced at a luncheon on October 10th.

PR News has already revealed the winners and honorable mentions for the Social Media Icon Awards, CSR Awards, Nonprofit PR Awards and Social Media Icon Awards and will continue to announce winners throughout the remainder of 2014. Winners to date include Cisco (Social Media Team), Edelman (Agency CSR A-List), RF|Binder Partners (Employee Volunteer Program) and Fleishman Hillard (Cause Branding Campaign and Corporate-Communication Partnership). Through its award program, PR News remains dedicated to supporting the growth of communicators and acknowledging outstanding accomplishments, all while keeping them abreast of the latest news affecting the industry.
