Mumbai Metro Rail Corp Issues Social Media RFP

The Mumbai Metro Rail Corp (MMRC) issued an RFP for a social media agency.

Scope of Work for Social Media Related Activities

  1. Creating, updating and continuously monitoring the Social Media presence of MMRC on platforms but not limited to the following:
  2. Facebook
  3. YouTube
  4. Twitter
  5. LinkedIn
  6. Wikipedia
  7. Update all social media platforms with relevant posts/content
  8. Provide time-to-time recommendation to MMRC on relevant content /posts to be updated on the social media platforms
  9. Respond to queries / comments of citizens on Social media Platforms after taking necessary approval from the concerned authority at MMRC
  10. Increase in no. of likes for Facebook, create Twitter trends, provide Video promotion on youtube, designing Creative like hoardings, brochures, pamphlets/ leaflets etc.
  11. Submission of weekly competitive analysis
  12. Social Media Monitoring Analysis (Report) on Indian Metros to be provided
  13. Creation of content and creative for social and online media
  14. The content and creative shall be in English and Marathi
  15. Advertisements
  16. Planning and creation of advertisements on online and social media
  17. Administrative and operational activities
  18. Submission of Daily activity summary report
  19. Submission of monthly report on the work done
  20. Social advertising
  21. Develop an appropriate social advertising plan for promoting the MMRC’s Official Social Channels
  22. Develop and execute a targeted social media advertising program to reach out to target stakeholders based on the media plan

Deliverables

Professional Support:

  1. The agency has to deploy at least one social media expert at MMRC, for exclusive Social Media work of MMRC. He /She has to be available to MMRC during MMRC Office Hours. The expert shall be in continuous touch with MMRC for effective flow of information in social media platforms.

Facebook

  1. Management of the FB Page
  2. Continuous Engagement and community management
  3. Minimum 20 Creative post & 15 Blog/News article per month.
  4. Response Management
  5. Monthly Analytical reports.

Twitter

  1. Daily delivery of the outputs of monitoring work of previous days in desired formats as required by MMRC on real time basis by 0900 hrs of the handles mentioning words/ tweets related to Mumbai Metro 3.
  2. Social Media Monitoring Analysis (Report) on issues of interest related to Metro 3 in India, as per need basis
  3. Tweets should be updated based on news events of the day
  4. Vulgarity/profanity/abuse should be handled properly
  5. Maintenance and indexation of archives should be done in user friendly electronic formats to facilitate easy retrieval
  6. Generate Twitter trend for activities as an when required by MMRC
  7. Minimum 20 Creative post & 15 Blog/News article with per month.
  8. Response Management

  1. Uploading and management of videos/ animations.
  2. Testimonials & Interviews
  3. Event Videos
  4. Corporate Videos
  5. Min. one video per Quarter or as and when required
  6. Channel management
  7. Video tags / Channel tags with appropriate titles and descriptions for optimized search
  8. Response management
  9. Monthly analytical reports

Wikipedia

Content creation/updation when required

Reporting:

  1. Submission of monthly report of work done.
  2. Submission of Monthly report with sentiment analysis, demographic, gender wise, most engaging and least engaging post, etc
  3. Social Media Monitoring Analysis (Report) on Indian Metros to be provided, as per need basis.
  4. Submission of Monthly competitive analysis

ORM:

  1. Respond to queries / comments of citizens on Social media Platforms after taking necessary approval from the concerned authority at MMRC
  2. Use of industry-standard tool for ORM. The company should have its own tool, which can be modified as and when required by MMRC or add features.
  3. The tool should allow to publish content as well as responded to inquiries.
  4. The dashboard access should be provided to MMRC officials for reviewing.

Other Deliverables:

  1. Advertisements: Planning and creation of advertisements on online and social media (The amount to be paid for advertisement to the websites /portals shall be separate, and would be at actuals)
  2. E-mail Newsletters as an when required
  3. HTML Newsletter as an when required
  4. Content and design in HTML
