Brookline Chosen for “Business of Bliss” PR

Brookline Public Relations has been named agency of record by the Glinda Girls for their upcoming “Business of Bliss” day long event. The e-commerce company, based out of Calgary, Alberta, is holding the event at the TELUS Convention Center on October 5, 2009 and as it is the first such event for the company, they have brought Brookline on board to help promote it.

Glinda Girls exists to help women entrepreneurs realize their dreams and the Business of Bliss conference will follow that theme. With special guest speakers such as Candace Bushnell, best known for writing Sex and the City and Lipstick Jungle, Martha Beck, a columnist for O, Oprah Magazine and Peter Walsh of the hit show, Clean Sweep, the conference is shaping up to be a tremendous resource for the female entreprenerial event.

The Business of Bliss event will be more than just a place to hear inspirational speakers and to be motivated to live a life of passion . . . Glinda Girls will also be hosting a “Pitchfest” to find the next Glinda Girl. This consists of a contest where the top five women will pitch their business ideas to a panel of judges. The winner will receive a $25,000 Business Booster Prize Package. The prize also includes a planning sessino with Brookline to help design a public relations strategy.

Brookline has a history of working with small boutique companies like Glinda Girls and is looking forward to designing and executing the media strategy for the Canadian company.
