It was announced today that the GSEA (Global Student Entrepreneur Awards) has named Lotus Public Relations to act as their PR Agency of Record. The GSEA inspires innovative and profitable undergraduate students who own and operate business while maintaining their normal course load.
Lotus Public Relations, an agency well respected for their media-inspiring strategies that generate measurable results, was chosen by the GSEA to enhance public relations and media relations efforts for this year’s global competition. The agency was selected to support its media relations, branding, and publicity interests. GSEA brand development, partnership creation, and public relations and key influences outreach will be part of Lotus’ strategies for this globally recognized competition.
“We chose to utilize the efforts of a well-respected agency this year because we feel that now, more than ever, the world really needs to be aware of the value entrepreneurship brings to the economy and to the human spirit,” said Dean Lindal, vice president, Entrepreneurs’ Organization. “We were aware of Lotus’ outstanding reputation and results for entrepreneurial organizations and knew they would be a good fit for the GSEA.”
The GSEA, a program of the Engrepreneurs’ Organization generously supported by founding partner Mercedes Benz Financial and other major foundations, provides mentorship and recognition to help students move their young businesses to the next level. Regional competitions are being held now through November 2nd worldwide. The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation will host the finalist competition for the “Global Student Entrepreneur of the Year” award during Global Entrepreneurship Week, November 19-22, 2009 in Kansas City, MO.
