Sconaid McGeachin is the new Regional President and Chief Executive Officer of Hill+Knowlton Strategies for the agency’s India, Middle East, Africa and Turkey operations. He was the Chief Operating Officer of H+K Middle East and Turkey for the last four years, and will continue to be based in Dubai and report directly to Jack Martin, global chairman and CEO of H+K Strategies.
The transition serves the drive to increase clients with high-level corporate services internationally, particularly in developing and rapidly-growing markets.
Amy Rosenberg, graduate of Clark University, has been promoted to executive vice president and U.S. director of media relations for Hill+Knowlton Strategies and will serve as an active member of the senior leadership team.
Gary Goldhammer will be responsible for driving business development and implementing digital strategies for Hill+Knowlton clients.
PR firms Public Strategies Inc. and Hill & Knowlton will merge starting January 1st, 2010, creating a large global PR powerhouse with 2,300 employees from 44 countries around the globe. Public Strategies top executives Jack Martin (pictured) and Dan Bartlett will have significantly increased roles after the merger process is completed.
Hill & Knowlton has been chosen to promote the US High Speed Rail Association. They will be working with the organization to raise awareness and interest in the project.
